Padmavati Protest man found hanging at nahargarh fort: Hours after a corpse was found hanging at Nahargarh Fort in Jaipur with messages protesting against the film that Padmavati scribbled on the wall, the dead man’s brother called it “murder”.
The graffiti on the nearby wall included warnings such as “We do not burn effigies, we hang them” and “Padmavati ‘ka virodh.”
“My brother can not commit suicide, it seems to be a murder, he will demand an investigation into the death, it has nothing to do with the threat note written on the rocks of Padmavati,” said Ram Ratan Saini, brother of Chetan Saini, whose body was found.

The body was sent to the autopsy and is being investigated further, police said.
A team representing the Rajput community said it was not the way to protest. The messages on the stones were written to provoke the attire, Said by Rajput President Karni Sena, Mahipal Singh Makrana.

Padmavati ‘has been facing the wrath of several groups & political leaders of Rajput, who accused the director of the film, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, of distorting the story. Many groups have protested amid rumors that there was a sequence of romantic dreams between Queen Padmini and Allauddin Khilji.
On November 22, protesters blocked the entrance to Chittorgarh Fort until 5 p.m. and the burned effigies of Bhansali. The next day, villagers led by the Rajput community blocked the entrance to Kumbhalgarh Fort in the Rajsamand district “for a time” demanding the banning of the film.
